Jessie Eddington Caudill, age 77, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at her residence in Jabez, Kentucky.
She was born March 30, 1947 to the late Corbett and Myrtle (Sexton) Eddington in Hazard, Kentucky. She was married to her husband, Marvin Caudill, for 53 years until his passing in 2017. Jessie worked for Home Office Supply, as well as cleaned for a Bed & Breakfast. She was a member of Christian Home Separate Baptist Church. After retirement, she found many hobbies, including gardening, tending to her flowers, and fishing. She also enjoyed canning and freezing food. She was a hard worker and loved to stay busy. Her family and friends were very important to her.
She is survived by her son, Corbett "Corky" & (Katrina) Caudill; a granddaughter, Raven Nicole Caudill; a great-grandson, Rain Nguyen; a sister, Brendia Eddington; two sisters-in-law, JoAnn Eddington and Dake Eddington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Caudill; and 8 siblings, Bonnie J. & (Arnold) Thomas, William & (Dot) Eddington, James Ivory & (Elizabeth) Eddington, Irene & (Glen) Smith, Maxine & (Rankin) Smith, Edgar Eddington, Donnie Eddington, and Roger Eddington.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Christian Home Separate Baptist Church, 32 KY-3277, Nancy, KY with Bro. Matthew Lawhorn officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time for services at Christian Home Separate Baptist Church.
