Born March 7, 1950 - Died 6/9/2023 at LCRH.

Jimmy went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by his birth mother as a young child, and his foster mother, Thelma Johnson in 2021. Jimmy moved to Somerset some 40 years ago and met Thelma who was to be his foster mother. Jimmy quickly became a part of the Johnson family not bound by blood but by love. He was a man of few words and yet was able to touch the hearts of all who knew him, by the twinkle in his blue eyes, the sugar he gave with a kiss on the cheek, a pat on the shoulder or the warmth of his beautiful smile.

He loved spending time with his friends and family both at home and Active day of Somerset.  He loved all kinds of music especially Gospel, bluegrass and country. He loved using his hands to take a stick, clip or toy gun and transforming them into his unique artwork.

Jimmy had a sweet sweet spirit and was a blessing to all he knew, he will be greatly missed by all who loved him, and will never by forgotten.

A celebration of his life will be held at Active day on 6/14/2023 at 10:00 AM. All friends and family are invited to join in this special event.
