John Gregory Pollitt passed away from this life on March 30th, 2024 doing what he loved, riding his Harley with his son and other close friends.
John or Greg, as family called him, was born to the late John H. and Ruth Pollitt on May 30th, 1954 in Lewis county.
John enjoyed riding his Harley, playing pool, singing karaoke, and spending time with his grand babies. He was loved by everyone who met him.
He is preceded in death by his parents as well as brother in laws Bobby McCann and Mickey Kennedy.
He is survived by his wife Lori Pollitt; son Mike (Wendy) Pollitt; grandchildren, Brittany Pollitt (Tyler), Lillie Pollitt, Dezeray Jones, Makilah Jones, William Jones, Aria Stevens, Melia Stevens; great grandsons, Aiden, Noah; step-children, Deatra Stevens, Alex Golden; the mother of his son, Marlene Pollitt; sisters, Sherri McCann, Pam Kennedy, Lisa (Kenny) Benedict, Bev (Tom) Toller; brothers, Tony (Shelly) Pollitt, Kippy Pollitt, Kevin Pollitt, and Brian Pollitt.
Along with 15 nieces and nephews, 30 great nieces and nephews, and 2 Great-great Nieces and nephews plus a host of special friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
