Linda S. Spears

Linda S. Spears, 74, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

She was born in Maslin, Ohio on December 9, 1945; daughter of the late Grant & Helen Irene (Rose) Comley, Sr. She was a retired employee of Oakwood in Somerset.

She is survived by a son, Bill & (Mona) Simpson of Somerset; a brother, Lee Comley of Lexington; two sisters, Ann Spears of Somerset & Mary Stinnett of Lexinton; two grandchildren, Kris & Murdock Simpson; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Grace Simpson, Porter McKlain Simpson, & Lilly Renee Jackson; three nieces, Nancy Whitlow, Monie McCulloch, & Dessi Comley; and three nephews, Smitty Stinnett, Ottie Comley, & Doug Comley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Spears; a brother, Grant Comley, Jr.; and a sister, Jeanie Comley.

At the request of the family, private services will be held at a later date.
