L.V. Mize, 82, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018.
He was born in Plato, Kentucky on February 24, 1936, son of the late George Washington and Nancy Elizabeth Payne Mize. He worked for Brown Brothers Construction and was a farmer. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by one sister, Betty Turner of Alabama, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Mize, his parents, three brothers, Roy, Jack and Kenneth Mize and two sisters, Lottie Lynch and Zula Bullock.
A funeral service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Branscum officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
