Mable Irene Elliott

Mable Irene Elliott, 89, of Science Hill, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

 

She was born October 8, 1931 in Somerset; daughter of the late Ethel Maiden Davis. She was a quality control inspector for Lear Siegler from the time they opened business until the company was closed down. She was then a cook for ten years at D&D EZ Food Mart for breakfast and lunch. She attended First Baptist Church of Science Hill and West Somerset Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Elliott of Science Hill; two grand-daughters, Laura Beth Elliott of Lexington and Leslie Brooke Elliott & (Tyrel) Inabnitt of Eubank; and four great-grandchildren, Jonas Faulkner, Jalyn Sweet, Drew Inabnitt, and Alex Inabnitt.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jonas Glen Elliott, who passed on January 3, 2002; a son, Michael W. Elliott; and a grandchild Derek Michael Elliott.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

 

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
