Margaret Jasper

Margaret Jasper, 88, of Science Hill, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the  Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben & Elsie (Higginbotham) Irvine; her husband, Elza Jasper; two sons, Jerry & Frankie Jasper; and one brother, David Irvine.

Margaret is survived by her sisters, Meg Johnson, Ruby Taylor, Elsie & (Bill) Cooper, Glenda & (Hoy) Wilson, and Kay Loveless & (Denny Oliver); two brothers, Gary & (Eunice) Irvine and Willard & (Connie) Irvine.

Margaret was a dairy farmer for over 30 years. In her spare time she found joy in quilting, crocheting, and spending many hours creating beautiful pieces that will be cherished by her family & friends.

A funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Vance officiating.

Burial will be in Carter Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday, December 15, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank all the nurses at the Jean Waddle Care Center. In lieu of flowers, they ask that you consider donations to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
