Mary Jane Loveless

August 12, 1946 — May 24, 2022

Mary Jane Loveless, 75, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born August 12, 1946 in Louisville; daughter of the late Parker & Violet (Panter) Adams. Mary attended Eubank Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was a true witness sharing the word of Jesus. She was saved many many years ago on her back porch doing laundry on an old wringer washer. She loved to share her testimony of that day.

Mary and her daughter Kim had their own business for 25 years hanging wallpaper for residential and commercial properties, including banks and boats. She also did cleaning for offices, salons, and many homes. Mary also worked at Roses, KMart, and a box factory. She was known for being a very hard worker.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a fabulous cook and always made birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas the most memorable holidays. She also enjoyed gardening and canning. She lived her life helping those in need. She was always cooking for people who were sick and her charity and love was always in action throughout her life. She always had something cooking and shared a plate with whoever entered her home. Her love was showed and shared throughout all of her years and she will be greatly missed by all.

She was an avid reader of God's word and loved her Christian magazines, always passing them on. She also enjoyed writing poems. She was a receiver of God's messages for others. She stood firm and depended on God's word. In the end Mary said she was ready to go home, and is now at rest with her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her caring husband, Gene E. Loveless and their dog Tilly, whom they both love and who was always by Mary's side; three daughters whom she adored and loved dearly, Kimberly Renee & (Larry) Todd of Somerset, Valerie Ruth Fryman & (Todd) of Richmond, and Edrie Michelle & (Bobby) Jones of Somerset; her children by marriage, Mark Loveless, Denise Bowman, and Brian Loveless; two brothers, Parker Adams of Lexington and William Adams of Somerset; grandchildren, Bruce King, Brian King, Brittany Reetz, Rachel Reetz, Joseph Reetz, Landon Fryman, Morgan Fulcher, Ryan Jones, Aron Jones, Christy Todd and Brandon Todd; great-grandchildren, Noah, Alexander, August, Ava, Jeremiah, Sarah, Rachel, Keeney, Ashley, Maya, Naila, Sadie, and Koby.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter whom she adored and loved dearly, Theresa Marie Fulcher; and three brothers, Franklin L. Moore, Edward Lee Adams, and David Wade Adams.
