Murial Morrow

Murial Morrow, 83 of Fayetteville, GA, formerly of Somerset, KY passed away Friday, October 27, 2022. Murial was born in Lower Turkey Creek in the Delta Community of Wayne County on November 3, 1938. She was a graduate of Wayne County High School. Murial was married to Donald Morrow for over 50 years. She worked at the Palm Beach factory in Somerset and retired from Philhower’s Drug Store in Miamisburg, OH. Murial was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church in Somerset. She loved to cook for her family and friends and enjoyed gardening. Murial endured disabling illness and passed away in Hospice Care at her daughter’s home in Fayetteville, GA.

She is survived by her daughter Beverly (Randy) Wood of Fayetteville, GA, three grandchildren, Joshua Wood (Stephanie) of Marietta, GA, Titus Wood of Atlanta, GA and Andrew Wood of Atlanta, GA, two greatgrandchildren, Jackson Wood and Luke Wood of Marietta, GA, and one sister Carolyn (Wayne) Riddell of Miamisburg, Ohio.

Murial was preceded in death by her parents Isaiah and Margaret Morrow Correll, her husband Donald Morrow, her siblings; Cloma (Oliver) Keith, Lucian (Ines) Correll, Gladys (Gayle) Sims, Beulah (Ralph) Stigall, Oral (Rosie) Correll, Edith (Jessie) Mickley, Lester Correll, Boyd (Joyce) Correll, and Mary Erp (Gerald).

Funeral services for Murial Morrow will be held Tuesday, November 1, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time for services. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests that acts of kindness be shown to people in need.
