Opal Habermehl

Opal Habermehl, 77, of Eubank, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab.

 

She was born April 20, 1943 in Eubank; daughter of the late Clarence & Hazel (Spears) Rutherford. She was a member of Eubank Baptist Church and of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Eubank Chapter.

 

She is survived by a son, Stan & (Michelle) Habermehl of Plainfield, Indiana; a daughter, Jewell & (Barry) Lukat of Science Hill; a brother, Tommy & (Salena) Rutherford of Eubank; a sister, Linda Buchanan of Eubank; a granddaughter, Heather Habermehl of Plainfield, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin R. Habermehl; a brother, Clifford Rutherford; and two sisters, Mary Nash and Barbara Brock.

 

Private Services will be held at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Sutton officiating.

 

Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery.
