Rickey "Rick" Wayne Young, 64, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on April 19, 1960 to the late Fred & Sue (Branscum) Young in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rick loved to deer hunt, go fishing, and enjoyed wildlife in general. He was a member of Sardis Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Young; a son, CJ & (Corenna) Davis; a daughter, Marsha & (Shannon) Wilson; five grandchildren, Jeremy Davis, Sarah Cowan, Eric Wilson, and Austin Wilson; and a great-grandchild, Gracie Lou Sizemore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Doug Young.
A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Goforth and Bro. Greg Powell officiating.
Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends starting at 11 AM until time of services.
