Robert Blevins

Robert Elwood Blevins, 88, of Bert Ridge Road in Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Stanford Care and Rehabilitation.

He was born in King Bee, Kentucky on July 8, 1934; son of the late Killis and Bertha Blevins. He was a farmer and a member of Science Hill Christian Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Pam Meece of Somerset, and one son, Robert Wade Blevins of Science Hill. He is survived by four grandchildren, Jordan (Melissa) Meece, Jaymee (Darron) Riley, Cody Blevins, and Kyle Blevins. He also has four great-grandchildren, Ellie Blevins, Noah Meece, Eagan Riley, and one on the way, Miles Meece. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mellie Blevins whom he married November 22, 1958; one great-granddaughter, Paislee Ann Riley, his parents, three sisters, Christine Hunter, Pauline Smith and Virginia Brewster and seven brothers, Clifford, Delmer, James, Eugene, Hughey, Carroll Blevins, and Bob Turner.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2023 with Bro. Troy Merrick officiating.

Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, April 17, 2023 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
