Roy Pence

Roy Roger (Bimbo) Pence, Age 70, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Somerset, Kentucky.

Roy was born on November 22, 1953 to Grover and Stella Debord Pence in Bronston, Kentucky. He was an employee of Science Hill Milling Company for 25 years and enjoyed the outdoors and farming and talking to people he met in everyday life.

He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Wilma Pence, one daughter, Kathy (Ray) Fitzwalter of Somerset, 5 grandchildren Timothy Dick, Amy Abbot, Austin Ray Fitzwater, Johnnie Fitzwater, and Drema Perkins, as well as 13 great grandchildren; Isaiah, Maverick, Karma and Addy Dick, Ryleigh Hobbs, Jesslyn and Azalea Abbott, Jasper and Lavender Perkins, Charles Neal, and Kyson Jones as well as Brinley Smith and others that love him and call him Pappy.
His brothers Tim Pence of Somerset, Marion Pence of Eubank, Robert " Catfish" Pence of Eubank, His sisters; Shirley Strain of Broadhead, Kathy Lykins of Eubank, Karen Smiley of Eubank, Joyce Pence of Eubank, and Norma Jean Carolton of Science Hill.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Stella Pence, and two brothers, Abraham and David Pence.

A funeral service will be held, Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Morris and Hislope with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM.

Burial will Follow in the Etna Cemetery in Eubank, Kentucky.
