Russell Rose

Russell Lee Rose, 70, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

Russell was born on June 17, 1954 to Juanita Rose in Monticello, Kentucky. He enjoyed being outdoors mule riding, camping, and wagon riding. Mules and horses was his life. He was a member of Polly Ann Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Ellison) Rose, whom he married on July 9, 1973; his two sons, Larry Rose (Carla Denton) and Ronald Rose; his daughter, Vicki Rose (Joshua Denney); his brother, Bruce (Debra) Rose; his sister, Elizabeth Caldwell; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Bullock officiating.

Burial will be at King Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until time for services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy to take the form in donations to the Russell Rose Memorial Fund.
