With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William "Billy" Fulcher, age 72, of Somerset, Kentucky on February 11th, 2024.
Billy was born on May 31st, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gurden Fulcher and Martha Cain Fulcher and two brothers, Robert Fulcher and Johnny Fulcher. He is survived a sister, Barbara Fulcher Jones of Somerset, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; caretakers, Mike Stevens and Karl David Reynolds; as well as several friends, extended family, and neighbors.
Billy was a special friend to his neighbors and acquaintances was known by his daily telephone communications. Billy worked for the family business, Dabney Feed Supply, and was part owner of Richmond & Lancaster stockyards and was a lifelong farmer. Additionally, he worked several years at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
A special thanks to Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, Hospice of Lake Cumberland, and Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Hospice.
Billy expressed his profession of faith to Pastor Shelby Reynolds several years ago. A celebration of life and graveside burial will be held at Eden Baptist Cemetery on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Ron Shaw officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Stevens, Ron Dunagan, Danny Reynolds, Greg Broyles, Tim Reynolds, and Don Dunagan.
Morris & Hislope is entrusted with the arrangements for Billy.
