William Benjamin Henderson

William Benjamin Henderson, 68, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

He was born November 28, 1954 in South Portsmouth, Kentucky; son of the late Charles Andrew & Pauline Louise (Holberg) Henderson. He worked as a mechanical laborer and was a United States Army Veteran. William enjoyed hunting, being an outdoorsman, and living off the grid.

He is survived by his brothers, Ronald D., Richard Lee, James Vincent, and Donald G. Henderson; sisters, Sandra D. Henderson, Cheryl Ann Ackles, and Catherine Lynn Roe; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Charles A. & (Judith G.) Henderson, Charlene Henderson Ward, and Pauline Louise Scaff.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
