Roger Dale Lockard

Roger Dale Lockard, 65, of Burnside, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at his residence.

He was born September 15, 1956 in Bronston, KY; son of James Mack Lockard of Bronston and the late Carolyn Ethel Morrow Lockard. He owned and operated Lockard's Trucking and was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Lowe Lockard; a son, Shannon Dale Lockard of Bronston; a daughter, Misty Sue Baker of Somerset; three sisters, Judy Howard of Blue John; Wanda Walden of Bronston, Teresa Sweet of Somerset; 2 granddaughters, Mahala Stringer, Kenya Stigall, and a host of nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Cathy Goad of Bronston.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, Joe and James E. "Buddy" Lockard and two sisters, Linda Jones and Carroll Davis.

A funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, July 4, 2022 at Mount Union Baptist Church with Bro. Walter Walden officiating.

Burial in Mount Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday, July 4, 2022 at Mount Union Baptist Church.
